2024年度、ERセンターイベント【留学生のための就活ガイド日本語集中講座】の参加者から嬉しい報告がありましたのでご紹介いたします。

2024年度9月参加者　分子工学専攻　（参加時：修士課程1回生）

　このたび、2025 年 6 月に内々定をいただくことができましたので、ご報告させていただきます。このような結果を得ることができたのは、2024 年夏に先生と門永先生がご担当くださった留学生向けの就職支援セミナーのおかげです。心より感謝申し上げます。セミナーでは、日本における外国人留学生の就職状況や、就職活動の基本的な流れについて分かりやすくご紹介いただきました。

また、長年にわたり留学生のキャリア支援に携わってこられた講師の方々のご講義を通して、エントリーシート（ES）の書き方や面接準備のポイントなど、実践的かつ具体的な知識を身につけることができました。これらの知識は、私の就職活動において非常に役立ちました。　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　　さらに、ER センターが主催する「ランチ・ネットワーキング」などの活動にも参加させていただきました。そこでは、同じく就職活動に取り組んでいる日本人・留学生の大学院生と交流する機会があり、情報交換を通じて日本での就職活動に対する理解をより深めることができました。

　来日当初は日本での就職を考えていなかった私ですが、こうした支援を通じて徐々に興味を持ち、挑戦してみようという気持ちを持つことができました。改めて、先生方のご指導と温かいご支援に深く感謝申し上げます。

I would like to inform you that in June 2025, I was fortunate to receive a job offer. This result would not have been possible without the valuable support I received through the job-hunting support seminar organized by Wasana-sensei and Kadonaga-sensei for international
students.
The seminar introduced the current employment landscape in Japan and provided a clear overviewof the basic steps involved in job hunting. It featured lectures by experienced professionals who have long supported the career development of international students. These sessions helped me gain concrete and practical knowledge—especially on how to write an Entry Sheet (ES) and prepare for interviews—which proved to be immensely helpful.
In addition to the seminar, I also took part in activities such as the Lunch Networking events organized by ER Center. These gave me the opportunity to meet and interact with many graduate students, both international and Japanese, who were also engaged in job hunting. Through these interactions, I was able to deepen my understanding of the job-hunting process in Japan and gain useful perspectives and encouragement.
Looking back, I am truly grateful for your continued support. The knowledge and confidence I gained through these programs gave me the motivation to seriously pursue employment in Japan—
a path I had not initially considered when I first arrived.
